PS3 game data

Sorry if this is the wrong section.
Last Friday my PS3 got the Yled problem after 6 yrs no issues.
Anyhow does anyone recall any game data on the PS3 or is it all saved on the server? Would hate to have to re-start

Saves are on the server iirc, and the PS3 harddrive although the actual game data is only on the harddrive.

Actual characters and progress are saved on the servers. I have heard that some option settings and even features I wouldn't have expected, like gear sets, are saved locally, though. You might have a bit of that setup to re-do.

Gear sets, appearances and other little things are saved wholly on the actual console. But without actually breaking into the save data or the game data due to not having dev tools, I couldn't tell you for certain. ^_^
