Make sure to check your PC temps and fans! I had this same issue with my 7770 AMD card and the fixes I found via google like underclocking did not work. I tracked down the issue to my CPU. I had it overclocked and it was adding a good bit of extra heat, not enough to shut down the PC, but enough to cause the video card to overheat and crash. I changed some power saving settings in the BIOS and now no longer get the driver crashes. My PC has 2 options for the CPU:

1. run all 4 cores at a single speed ex: 4ghz
2. run all 4 cores at a single lower speed (ex: 3.8ghz), but when a program that use a lot of CPU like FFXIV is detected, it will switch to 4ghz but only in a 2-core mode. The other 2 cores are shut off to lower the heat output.

I was running it at #1 and kept getting the driver crashes, but after switching to #2, they stopped. Apparently that reduced the temps enough so the card stopped crashing. Some of you may want to run your PCs with case covers off for a session to see if you still get the crash. If they stop, then you may have a heat issue.
