My end game is having fun with a group of friends. We naturally progress just by playing; I'm in no rush to get best gear or have max level classes.

Let people try to play the way they want; as long as they aren't harming anyone else. If they want to complain because the game doesn't allow them to play the way they want then let them. SE may or may not accommodate them.

Real endgame is fishing. Clearing that fishing log? Ten... No, a thousand times harder than Titan. Those descriptions of things like the Gigantpole? Far more rewarding than a +1 Relic. Oh, and with a controller you can tab out and still keep fishing, so you don't even need to pay attention. That right there is true endgame. People were trying to pretend Titan was endgame by tabbing out and eating Landslide, but they'll never know true endgame!
