    How are people playing warriors?

Someone mentioned to me they use Storms path after "sunder" I think by sunder they mean storms eye.
I think storms eye is strictly a PvP ability or atleast one where you need to apply the 50% cure debuff, I cant think of any DPS classes they do slashing damage apart from the tanking classes.

I am curious to hear from Warriors doing BC who have tried attributing STR and perhaps DEX aswell, right now I am going for STR and using a 4 button rotation of:
Heavy Swing, Maim, Storms Path, when HP gets low enough: Inner beast
If I am not taking damage I will switch to the enmity combo rotation and put fracture up for the DPS.

I am also trying to figure out what is best for maximum enmity keeping maim up or not.

I'm still pretty new to the 50 scene, but...
Keeping Storm's Eye and Maim up, especially Maim, increases your self heals by a pretty significant amount. As for the damage boost from Storm's Eye, Dragoons benefit from it as well iirc.

If anything, Storm's Path is not worth using, the return for the investment (both in terms of both TP and the GCD) just isn't worth it. It heals for basically nothing. The only time I use it is if I have Bloodbath up and Berserk. Other than that... it's just kinda bad

i was very curious about this too, but after playing around /w SP for a while I realised it's not even enough to maintain hp when solo-ing if I dont use bloodbath or inner beast. so it seems that the only time it is worth it is when bloodbath is up, since you get 75% of SP's dmg back as hp.

i always keep maim buff up (and eventually SE debuff since they chain off the same combo), and the timers fit quite nicely into 1 rotation of BB followed by 1 rotation of full maim combo + fracture.

Storm's Path is useless because it's inefficient. That 7.5s for Storm's Path could be a berserk + inner release IB that could heal a hundred times more than Storm's Path.

dragoon didnt benefit storm eye, because dragoon attack type is piercing
although so maim and storms eye debuff need to be keep up make your inner beast hit harder

Storm's Eye is not "just for PvP". 11% or so extra damage provides extra threat, and more importantly increases IB heals. Ideally you want this and Maim active at all times, with BB combo interwoven between reapplying (often can get 2BB combos in pure 1 SE)

Storm's Path is just not worth it in it's current implementation.

Also, Storm's Eye works for a PLD damage as well, so if you are in a two tank party it helps more than just yourself.

    Storm's Eye: Combo potency = 270, TP = 70, increase WAR/PLD dmg for 15s
    Storm's Path: Combo potency = 250, TP = 90

If you consider only the above part, then Storm's Eye is hands down superior to Storm's Path. Yes, there's more to it that I've omitted, but I consider the heal reduce/self heal irrelevant.

I never use Storm's Path. Too much TP, and less dmg/enmity than Storm's Eye.

Storm's Eye is fine as a damage ability. The only things you can do with 1 GCD for more damage would be Butcher's Block (280) and Fracture (100 + 10 * 20). And those only surpass by a little bit if (BB) buff/debuff from Maim combo is up and if (Fracture) it can tick for the full 30s. Edit: And Inner Beast I guess, but that's a special case.

In terms of enmity, Storm's Eye is ok, but not your top. As I recall it's more enmity than Flash/Overpower on a single target, but less than Skull Sunder/Butcher's Block (a lot less than Butcher's Block).

    Please note:

On Garuda HM, or any other boss that heals. Storms eye grants that 50% less healing from her add phase is big numbers. I assume it works, and it seems to work as she noticeably doesn't heal as much when I have the debuff on her. But other factors could be the party killed them faster the second time, scholar could have put the debuff up as well.

I almost never use storms path unless solo.
