what's up with this increasing lag/disconnect?

I've been getting insane lag all yesterday and today, freezing for upwards of 30 seconds constantly. My roommate on PS3 is having none of these issues, and I've tried resetting the router and my pc multiple times. All ports are forwarded, firewall off. ATM the game in unplayable, I can't see any condition changes while crafting, my main combat classes are healers, so that's a no go as well.

I've had days of terrible lag, followed by a week of silky-smooth gameplay, followed by a day of totally random lag. I first thought that it was due to server congestion (and in some way it probably is/was), but when I log in on a Tuesday morning at 8am, there aren't many people playing that early this time of the year, so it bears to question why am I disconnecting every twenty minutes? Likewise, I fought Titan HM with my FC last night for about an hour at what amounts to primetime for the game (8-10pm EST on a Saturday), and essentially had no lag outside of two poorly timed spikes--one on Geocrush and another on bombs. Thankfully, we had some top-notch healers, but still.

It's irritating to say the least, and I hope the addition of new servers later on helps. If nothing else, I'd like to not be hesitant about entering a dungeon just because I felt a small lag spike in town upon logging in.

It was pretty much unplayable for me on my last Amdapor Keep run, with 6 or 7 second spent frozen in lag for every quarter of a second where things moved. None of my heals were landing on their targets so we were just dying to trash. I apologized and dropped group as there's nothing I can do but wait for it to mysteriously disappear again in a day or two.

I don't know what's going on with the connection. I know the cancel-sub-if-pet-issue-not-fixed thing is a petty and juvenile hallmark of this community, but if this continues to persist it will be a legitimate cause for me to cancel my own subscription, which is something I very much do not want to do as I love everything about this game. Yet it's impossible to do pretty much anything in conditions of rubberbanding like this, I can't even craft as the time taken to initiate actions and search the market board for materials just makes it extraordinarily frustrating.

Since I'm playing 2.0 I see people gathering twice as fast as me because of the lag. I go to node and do my first swing, another player comes to the same node and while I'm at my last attempt the other player is already done and starts walking towards the next node. Leveling botany is already depressing but watching other people doing the same in half the time is pretty sad. I also have lags while crafting, that's why I use never macros there.

I still hope that transferring from the Japanese datacenters to an EU datacenter will at least decrease the server lag. I have a constant 300ms ping to my server, not to mention that I even loose packets on my way to Japan.

This is driving me insane! I'm getting 29ms ping, yet getting 90000 every 5 minutes, and everything freezing in game upwards of 30s at a time, constantly, since yesterday (Saturday, 12th). I cannot play! I don't know what to do, like I said earlier ports have been forwarded and all that jazz. God, if anyone has any solution or partial fix please help us!

ive been insta DCing for a straight week now, i cannot do anything, DC within 5-10minutes, ALWAYS. doesnt matter what time i log in, i will DC. i cant belive square isnt hot fixing this. i guess for the mean time were paying them so they can deny us what we paid for. seems like a fair trade.

Been having this problem on and off for a while. A friend of mine lives down the street and I am usually skyping with them. They never report lag the same time I do, so it's not our ISP. It's SE. It happens sometimes during primetime and sometimes at 10:00AM on a Tuesday.

I experienced my first 90k DC for a while on Saturday night during a CM run and got followed up with error 103010 or something like that so I couldn't login, I gave up trying after a while and went to bed but have not tried to login again since to see if I can but I would assume I would be able to by now.

Really awful DF lag lately. Titan HM is basically unplayable due to being hit by phantom plumes. So, congrats for helping the already booming business of selling Titan wins, SE.
