Made an alt, I know I COULD use fantasias but...I don't wanna, I like how my mains and alt are. You don't see many Elves let alone Duskwights so I made one.

Yay Duskwights! I guess it fits the lore that they’re not so common though.

And yes, I prefer to create alts than change the appearance of my characters. They’re different people!

I haven't been here for awhile. Here's my Elezen.

Coming from Final Fantasy XI and playing an Elvaan for so long i had made the decision to play as a different race when FFXIV 1.0 came out, when FFXIV 2.0 beta started I had decided to go back to being an Elezen and i loved the character. But come launch day I changed my mind at the last minute and remade her into a Hyur, over these past 5 years I've gone from being a Hyur to a Miqote to a Lala and back to a Hyur...recently I've gone back to being an Elezen/Elvaan.

I have read some of the comments and posts here in this thread on how some players rather make an alt than change the appearance of their characters and i have no feelings on that one way or another...more power to them, for me and others like myself... changing race or appearance once in awhile keeps things fresh and interesting...will i change again?...probably...someday, but for now being Elezen feels good, fresh, interesting.
