A lot of people say that but I find more difficult to create beauty roegardyn, while the elezen are always pretty.

Oh i agree, one of my favorite characters is the elezen i post pics of, i wouldn't change her for anything. I am just giving the generic reasons why people are less eager to make elezen, especially males than they are to go with miqo'te, au ra, hyur, ect

I've long since gotten used to my body, the right armor fits elezen like a glove (again, drg armor was /made/ to be worn by elezen first, everyone else was secondary XD even in lore!)

Why do Elezen seem less popular in FF14?

All what Aryalandi said plus (especially on males) the emotes. To be honest, I find my elezen's emotes cringe-worthy (and I personally really dislike the /changeposes while standing... like, why can't he just stand normally instead of doing this weird "I'm about to step forward, but I won't"-thing), but he's otherwise so cute that I overlook the sucky parts and concentrate on what made me create an elezen in the first place. And I'm sort of getting over the emotes, they do have their own, uh, charm, I suppose. /rally

Can't deny! First comes the cringe, then comes the snicker, and then comes the goofy grin.
(I do love /joy on male elezen, that overconfident smirk. :'D)

I personally went with short-ish (think I chose 40-50 or something on the slider) ears because I found them elegant. Especially the slender ear type that's similar to what Ysaile and Thordan VII have. I suppose my elezen is a bit feminine (that's what I've been told, anyway) so long wide "strong" ears would kinda clash with his puppy face.

Why do Elezen seem less popular in FF14?

When I played FF11 I played as Elvaan short female. She was about the same height as the tallest hume (hyer). I was disappointed that I couldn't get even close to that same height on ffxiv.. so I went catgirl but I did marry Elezen <3 even tho he doesn't play anymore...

It's a shame elezen aren't more popular, but then it's always extra nice when I meet another. People always say they can't deal with the neck, but it really doesn't bother me anymore. I do still feel our heads are a bit small, though ;-; I also wish we had a different range of voices, I really don't like most of the female elezen ones

But I think we have great emotes!

I like my Elezen's voice. He has a evil deep voice laugh. Sounds cool.

One of the few reason I changed to Elezen was for the rareness. It is better to be more different if you ask me.

The only thing I don't like is that I can't wear anything with exposed upper body, because it looks weird due to how scrawny they are. We do need a muscle slider. Skinny people can be muscular, too. Look at Bruce Lee and any smaller weight boxers.
