I agree their running animation seems a bit akward but the worst offender is definitely the male Au Ra.

I find the other races running/sprinting weirder. It's why I go back to Elezen somewhat quick if I fantasia.

Elezen animation chat: While I do wish some emotes were a little better, the things I see most people complain about (running, proportions) I have grown very accustomed to. So much so that when I switch to play another race, I can't help but feel that they're stubby :x

I actually play as the shortest elezen possible and sometimes I get surprised when I see a Hyur Highlander that's the same height as me lol. If there's anything to fault about proportions though, for me, it's that some paladin gear or any gear with huge shoulder pads looks too large on elezen. I'm thinking back to 2.0 when I got the il90 Valor Surcoat for PLD and was surprised by the size of the shoulder pads compared to other races. Likely due to elezens tall but lithe figure, but those pads could have been reduced in size a little.

I actually remember that I sent in a bug report because I felt like something was wrong lol.

Hey fellows Elezens, how are you? ♥

This time I appeal to you because I have an identity crisis, so to speak. See, I was thinking of acquiring a Fantasia to change the voice and the type of ears to my elezen. But I started playing with the creator, and I made this Duskwight. And I found her so beautiful, but I really love my wildwood too.

The thing is... I wonder if I have to... use the fantasy to improve my wildwood character or I should try to be the duskwight for once?.

Hello! Both are very cute characters! As someone who has done the race switch too many times to count, including the elezen switch between wildwood/duskwight I would suggest making an alt with your duskwight or change a retainer to look like her so you can get a better idea of how she will look in game. I found many times when I had a design i liked in the generator they really didnt transfer how i thought they would in the normal game lighting/environment. I really liked my wildwood and still consider changing back but I also really enjoy my duskwight more than I ever thought I would. The best thing you can do is just try it out one way or another! I think both characters are really cute and special in their own way so I think you will be fine with whatever you choose! Good luck
