Why? Not worth the trouble. Besides, FC might not even care or be another troll ... birds of a feather flock together. Players build FC groups to troll others all day ... in fact its one of the best reasons against the vote kick. Going through the trouble of trying to "get revenge" on these lowlives will only serve to get the reactions these miserable peices of steamy dookie live off of. Youll only be validating their pathetic existance.
Just turn off group chat, simple as that. Let the group know youre turning it off because X player is being an ahole, wish them good luck, and keep going. If someone drops its their DF cooldown, not yours. Simple. Nothing pisses off a kid throwing a temper tantrum more than complete and total dismissal of his rage.

Good points, I'd like to address one part in particular and leave the rest to stand because it is a good point. The thing I'd like to point out is that I would not be calling a GM over someone running their mouth. I'm talking about mad afk at the front guy or pulling all the mobs guy here. I can handle verbal abuse or whatever I don't care about that. It's when people intentionally stop the entire group from completing the run that I'm likely to "tattle"Why? Not worth the trouble. While I don't side in any way with trolls or bad behavior... I doubt reporting to FC leaders will change anything... FC leaders are players just like others... They don't have any special privilege anyone can just start his own FC and be an FC leader...
And I also think that "FC reputation" is kind of overestimated... Personally I don't remember any FC's and I don't remember having an opinion on one...
It's like I saw someone shouting in Mor Dhona "don't party with X, he's dropping mid raid"- Do people actually listen to that? What if that person lies? I never took such shouts to heart and I don't think it hurts their virtual "reputation"... I think that many FC leaders will just laugh about you if you "report" a member trolling...
Just report to GM since bad behavior is against the rules... Anyway I see many threads on trolls and bad DF players but personally I hardly met any and I DF a lot..... Sure people are not always super nice, but I don't expect them to. But usually they are willing to teamwork and listen so far from my DF experience... Maybe I'm just lucky. This is an online game, it has community, not everyone are nice.
TL;DR: If their mom couldn't teach them manners, I doubt an "almighty" FC leader can...

I don't even brother going to other servers to /tell people or their FC. If they are being that much of a jerk, I'll look them up and report them with a copy of the log and hope that GM will at least ban them for a few days for their behavior towards a player(s). Otherwise just like a few moments ago I had a nasty war and his brd friend talking down at the healers in Garuda HM so I stopped healing, watched a few of them die, I died and left while a few were still alive. Yeah I feel bad for the people who weren't in on the "let blame the WHM's" but sure as heck not going to stand around and take blame for something that wasn't mine or the other healer fault.
"Everyone has something they hold dear, something they never want to lose. That's why they pretend. That's why they hide the truth. And that's why they lie."
As a FC leader, I would be thrilled if someone let me know that one of our members was behaving like this. Members who pug and act like that in parties will eventually act like that in FC. I think they should be reported as well. Its stupid behavior that is starting to effect normal players, and it needs to stop.

2.1 will allow you to vote kick jerks
but remember, you can't use duty finder to find new jerks if you are doing a trial
Oh, by the way, I love jerks!!!!! (the chicken, that is)

@razzle yep and to a certain degree I agree with everything you said. I think when we are talking about ak, and lets be honest I am mostly discussing endgame instances but I suppose it could happen any time along the journey. That these guys have put in countless hours t oget to where they need to be to farm the content. This probably also means that they have interest in going to coil. coil requires either a strong linkshell team or a fc team to run. I'm going to say that these guys are mostly hiding in raiding guilds and it would be an embarrassment to the guild if their actions came to light.
@yurikitty Yay! Soldarity here here for leaders who give a crap ;P
Except that progression oriented guilds judge players by their performance not by what they do outside raiding. You will be making an exhibition of youreself and providing them entertainment at best. Its Kindergarten at its best - Hey Leader X players said Y to Z and hes been really bad mannered - i can already see that facial expression. Grow up people.@razzle yep and to a certain degree I agree with everything you said. I still don't understand why people think it's somehow childish to use social networking to try to unify and moderate and moral behavior of a society. News flash buddy, you are the one being childish by not speaking up like an adult. Your immediate reaction seems to be, well if this guy is like that then his GM is probably just going to laugh at me for saying something, sorry man but that is the childish thing. I'll say once again, I am a FC leader, some other FC leaders have spoken already, we DO want to hear if our guys are being dicks.Except that progression oriented guilds judge players by their performance not by what they do outside raiding.
