Stop verbal abuse of others

Can I just take a moment of your time to show you how unnecessary this is and how you can help instead. Before that, I'll tell you about my experience last night.

Up until now, I've really enjoyed the game and the community, but then once I hit endgame it all started to go downhill. Last night I attempted Hydra as one of the tanks (first time), I made a few simple mistakes but I was starting to learn, that was of course, until some of team started verbally abusing me. The amount of pressure I felt from every word weighed me down more and more until I couldn't even play as my normal self, this had led me to depression for a few hours and even had me consider quitting.

Moving on, I think it's unnecessary, and I'm going to list a few things you can do instead of making them feel pressure in the next post.

• Attitude
  Always maintain a positive attitude when dealing with your team mates, bad attitude will make them feel upset and feel more pressure, take your time with progression as you don't lose anything from dying (assuming you've set your home point nearby).
• Speed runs
  If you decide to do a speed run of a dungeon and use a pick up group, remember that everyone doesn't participate solely for your speed run. Some could be doing it for the story or others could be doing it for enjoyment as well as learning experience. If they don't follow your lead without you explaining anything, then don't rage when they mess up but help them instead.

• Cut-scenes
  Remember that some people are doing the dungeon for the story, the total of cut-scenes time added up will be 10-15 minutes max, if you quit and wait for another duty, then you will be barred for 15 minutes and have to wait anyway (thanks to the logic of a user off reddit).
• New players
  As I said before, if someone is new then don't expect them to read a 14 page guide or watch a 20 minute video and memorize everything on every dungeon just because you did, in every dungeon I've experienced I have managed to explain the strategy in 1-2 short sentences, that's all it takes.
  Remember, everyone was new once.
• Cooperation
  If someone dies, don't quit or rage, it's normal. Give them advice and tell them what they're doing wrong, otherwise you're bound to repeat the same mistakes. I've had teams act so nicely from this that they've passed up loot for another member who was a stranger to them before the dungeon, this is what I love to see.

If they were critical to a decent player like yourself who had the decency to come on forums and be the bigger person and help enlighten others I believe that they had some serious issues and you should brush it off, seriously. I know how frustrating it can be running with people who try to act like they are "holier then thou" the best part is when they screw up and blame others. Normal players like you and myself support one another.

You should report these people. I have had very positive results from reporting abusive folks.

Well... Positive for me anyway.

Most people just sit there and take it. You don't have to. Report them by going to the Support Desk and copy and paste all the nasty things they are saying to you as Harrassment. You don't have to put anything else just put the chat log.

You will get a response from the GMs in 2-3 business days.

^^^ my bad on my phone and it posted.. Can't edit. Anyway I was in a group the other day an two people didn't want to grab the extra chests. I said if prefer too.. Since I was there to get gear and they said since I'm dd my option doesn't matter. -_-

Unfortunately, the GMs can't do anything about making groups:

-Get Chests
-Watch Cutscenes
-Wear good gear
- or play at all.

Please do not report people who /sit waiting for someone to leave. As annoying and frustrating as it is, I was told by a GM that "We can't make people play." So if they're just not playing or going AFK, then you're just out of luck. GMs cannot do anything about this. They can only do something about people deliberately MPKing people or who type terrible things in the chat box.
