So wait. Asking people to speak english (which according to the OP they were capable off) when queuing up for the DF as ENGLISH speaking players is being a douchebag? Gotcha!

OP didn’t so much “ask” as “dictate”. Moreover, people are not obligated to talk to you in any language regardless whether it’s DF or not. And when the conversation is social in nature, the OP has no right to inject himself into a conversation he is not a part of. How do you think you'd look if you walk up to a couple strangers in a store talking to each other in a foreign language and tell them "english pls"?

Fun fact. English is not the most spoken language in the world. It's the second most spoken language in the world. Mandarin is actually the most spoken language.
