Recast timers for skills

Might not be the correct place to put this but hey if someone knows, it would be awesome.

Now after you use an ability, i know you can macro in /recast to show a time, but it doesnt continue the countdown. Now for DoT's or off GCD skills this would be insanely awesome. Is it possible to do this so you can keep track of what skills are soon to be available?

I'm not home at the moment, so i can't test it. Also i haven't worked with macro's much.

But isn't there a /wait for macro's as well? couldn't you do it like... "use X ability - /recast - /wait 5 seconds - /recast - /wait 5 seconds" etc. perhaps with different wait times depending on the full cooldown on the relevant skill?

I presume that could work, i guess the next question would be whats the longest wait duration? (wish i was home to test lol) is it 10 or 30? not that it matters much but yeah.

Also for the macro to have the proper icon with the cool down wheel (not essential but for knowledge sake) is the command

/micon
/internal release <me>
/wait 60
/echo IR ready"

But would the /micon allow the icon to be active after use?
