Weekly Caps: Worse than Fatigue

I'm all for increasing the cap, say 3,000 a week. But in turn. Make everything you buy 10x more. Problem solved. You got something to do hours and hours on end, and people like me will take 10-20 weeks and you will still get it in 3 weeks but you will have something to do all day long.

the tome cap is nothing like the fatigue system. While the fatigue system forced you to play a new class or suffer terrible xp the tome cap only prevents you from obtaining certain gear. the cap probably has to do with SE not wanting everyone to clear all the current content completely before the patches hit, considering there are a lot of people who havnt even hit 50 yet these casuals will still be literally months behind regardless.

So the fatigue system made people have to stop playing the job they were on as they could not really progress while the Myth cap is out in place so people have to switch jobs (like a DoL or DoH) as they won't be able to really progress on gear intensive things.

Too bad for you that it's the 'Casuals' that form the vast majority of the playerbase and hence provide most of the funding for the game and thus quite rightly form the demographic around which game progression decisions such as this are based. Deal with it.
