Free Company Capacity - Insufficient Resources to Complete this Action

Greetings from PBC!

My message is short and sweet, we need more room in our Free Company! We have two Free Companies to try to manage all of our members, but this is unfortunate because we really would like to be able to talk to each other and share FC resources and also eventually have our Company Housing all under one literal roof!

It seems likely that the capacity is a function of some octet bit set since the current limit is 512. Perhaps it could be 1024 instead? That would be super and fix most of our concerns.

FC's out there, do you have a similar issue? We would love to hear from you! Also perhaps suggest some alternate ways SE may address this problem. 768 members would be helpful but not as great as 1024! Thanks for your careful consideration and {Please Be Careful}!

512 is more than any other MMO I know. "You give them a foot, they want a mile" saying comes into play here. There has to be a limit to things... and 512 is an extremely gracious limit.

If you want to all talk to each other, use a Linkshell.

Apologies friend but our capacity exceeds that of a Linkshell! We have more than 128 extra members. Also, fabled and well known game world of warcraft also has a capacity of 1000! WoW! {Have a safe journey}

You don't need to sign your posts, I suggest spending the time reading the thread instead of needless signatures. Your name is in your automatic image, and also to the left of every post you made. Also what you posted is embarrassing (for you) and reveals that you didn't actually read the thread. PBC does not recruit.

The problem with that idea is that Linkshells have a fourth of the capacity as Free Companies do. As much as we would like to try, there's no way you're going to arrange 600 people or so in such a way that everyone can talk to everyone else, even with 8 Linkshells.

This is something I just fail to understand. Keeping the linkshell system as a chat function was smart, IMO. However, linkshell limits should be higher than free company limits so that you can use them to communicate across groups. The 128 person limit just makes no sense.
