NOOB QUESTION on ranking up other jobs

New to the game here.

I've been reading and coming across people displaying leveled up rank (DoM / DoW / DoL, etc.) and wondering how they do it?

I'm currently a gladiator (DoW), how do i level up DoM (tha) cz i heard that gla / tha is a decent build.

Since i'm under "fightng" discipline, can i rank up the other jobs under the other disciplines? Is there an NPC that teaches you to rank them?

hope someone can give me a reply here cz i've been trying to read around and look for the answer myself but no luck... haha.

Hi Aramus! I have some helpful information for you.
(1) Click "The Lodestone" in upper right of the screen
(2) In the box put in Genine Asura
(3) Hit "character" menu
(4) Hit blog
(5) There are 3 pages of blogs you can select next page at the bottom

You will find a guide to ranking up jobs
A guide for ranking up jobs and getting materials to craft
A list of all the npc's that sell start DOL/DOH/DOW/DoM tools and weapons
Other helpful beginner stuff

Oh.. and to switch to another job you just need to switch the weapon out
