Botting woes

Doesn't do any good to report them. We've had the same bots farming diromite webs in the same exact location since the game released on my server. If you played FF11, just expect them to always exist just like they never were gotten rid of in 11. Bot'ing is ok apparently to SE, but the gil they make is not. So basically SE will let them exist as long as they pay for the account, and then go in behind and just punish the people that buy the gil from the person bot'ing. Sucks, but thats how SE rolls on this situation.

There is no evidence that I know of that shows SE has ever banned gil buyers, sadly.

Because if they did ban gil buyers, they wouldn't be able to renew their subscriptions and SE would lose a lot of money.

It's sad that I agree with this. I see the same bots I reported on day 1 still in the game but I got my GIL removed for selling on the market. Love how ass-backwards things are with SE.
