    I'm not sure what the difference is between people preparing to farm valuable matts ahead of time, and say, people farming matts 2 weeks after the patch.

    Market prices respond to supply and demand and inevitably rise and fall. (I.E When the stocks are over-saturated, prices drop competitively).

    So whats the problem? Prices always drop regardless.

    Call me simple minded for not having expansive knowledge on economy and trading, but I really don't see your point as valid.

    I have played plenty of mmo's and have been an avid market player. The whole thing about people using patch notes to manipulate the future market is sketchy at best because often the notes change pre installation of said patches. I don't find any validity in your statement but I do notice a hint of scaremongering to be completely honest. Plenty players on my server are for the implementation of a patch note post that changes based on important decisions made by developers. I personally don't see any major economical threat by showing these notes atleast 1 month in advance.
