that is some good advice for a quick fix Akira, however it wont solve the problem for other folks. while it isn't as bad as the gil spam, atleast with gil spam you know who it is and can black list them.

I find it horribly rude to just send out random invites, and I can't imagine the FC's doing that can be taken seriously. Join a bunch of rude idiots? No thank you!
About 3 weeks ago, I had the same person inviting over and over again. I noticed who it was, so I told him to please stop it, and he instantly wanted to start a fight, spamming me with even more invites, until I eventually blocked him. This could have been avoided, if we could only block it.
Oh, and while writing this, I can see I got an invite from an FC I already rejected, and I have no idea who the spamming monkey is. I'm just standing at a river fishing, but I can't even do that in peace and quiet...
Please Square Enix, make the game a better place to spend our time, and make it possible to block those pesty FC invites! It's a small update with a huge effect for us!
