Race Choice? Not stats, but line of sight issues? Animation differences matter?

can ps3 zoom in/out i've looked through the options and tried everything i can think of to replicate a mousewheel on a gamepad, can only change angles not distance?

I'm the shortest Miqo'te you can possibly choose (literally the only way to be any shorter would be a lalafell) and I'm a lvl 38 paladin tank. The only time I have problems targeting is if I'm zoomed in too close (easily fixed by just zooming out) especially if the mob is really big (looking at you Cancer you bastard crab) Though sometimes my targeting gets screwy like some how i targeted myself but that has nothing to do with race or height issues and more just retardedness on the user (ie myself)

Thanks for the replies so far all. I just imagined my stubby Roegadyn legs and square torso would obscure all sorts of little mobs while tanking. Glad to see it's not so.

Yep, don't worry about it. Enjoy being able to see your gear and having some of the best emotes!

You should note there is minor stat differences between each race. You can find a full list here:

Also height, and everything really does not come into play at all. You can zoom out your camera pretty far in this game, to the point where it resembles the original grand theft auto helicopter views haha. I am sure you can find a comfortable medium in there.

The minor stat differences are extremely minor btw. It is a 3-6 stat difference that remains 3-6 all the way up to level 50. Eventually your stats get into the 300-400 range so don't let stats determine your race.

i dislike that Lalafell first person view is set at, what i imagine to be, Hyur height. So if a pc or npc is targetting you, it looks like they're staring at your boobs or something.

One last quick question for everyone. Does anyone know if the hit box sizes differ between races?
