The content for the next 6 months has already been laid out for us, and nothing is really changing. More coil-like dungeons and Crystal Tower. The problem still exists.

If you don't do currency, you have a problem with gear generation.
Think about it this way:

Complete Turn 1, +2 pieces of gear.
Rotate 1 slot so another person can come, +2 pieces of gear for that person.
See the problem? SE wanted 2 pieces of gear per turn, per 8 people, per week.

If they do currency, rotating people can be allowed without it generating twice as much gear for 1/8th of the participation.

This is endgame, not much is changing for a year.
