    "FF14 suddenly stopped working"

    Hello everyone.

    I played this game yesterday no problem.

    This morning, when I try to log in, I input my password, click login, and I just get a windows message saying the program has stopped working. The only thing I've done between now and last night when I logged out is uninstall iTunes. I tried reinstalling just to see if that did anything, not surprising though, it didn't. There's no error message, no nothing. Windows just pops up saying it has stopped working. I am running Windows 7 64bit. Any suggestions? I can't seem to find a repair tool anywhere.

    Check your email. More than likely you have gotten a "Suspicious Activity" email from SE. Reset your password. If you're worried about a spoof email, just log in via your SE account. Once you've reset your password you will be able to log in. There is no error msg for this. So the launcher just crashes.

    Thank you for this. I actually found out because I deleted my user folder for FF14 (Stupid now, since I have to set everything up again), and the first time launcher thing was able to tell me that my account was locked. You were however right, so thank you very much for your response. Do I need to be worried about this?
