PC restart after a few minutes ingame

Hello. Yesterday I bought a new pc. And I have the problem that the computer turns off by himself after a few minutes in FF and then restart.
I logg in, wait 2 minutes, the screen get black and then comes the restart.
I update all the drivers, the new nvidia beta driver too, but the problem is still there.
Someone else have this problem or does anyone know a solution?

Here the data of my PC:
    Windows 8 64bit
    Intel® Core™ i7-4770 (3,4 GHz, 8 MB Cache)
    Intel® Z87 Chipset
    8 GB DDR3 RAM
    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 (1,5 GB GDDR5)

That sounds like an overheating problem to me. Is everything free and clear? Are you overclocking anything? Is the fan on your video card operational (maybe you got a lemon)?

    *Edit*
If none of the above are a problem, try rolling your drivers back to the last stable version (as opposed to a beta version).

So I have not done much on the PC. Only update the drivers and install final fantasy. like I said, it's a brand new pc that I bought yesterday. Everything is free and clear and I have nothing overclocked.

Try installing the last stable drivers for your video card then. Beta drivers aren't fully stable yet (that's why they're still in beta). It's no guarantee, but it may fix the problem.

You can check your crash logs as well to see what is causing it. Here are some directions:

What do you have your settings at?

I've had the same problem, where my PC would restart itself but only in FFXIV. I had my graphics set to maximum except for shadows, which I lowered a bit because it caused a little bit of lag in the Shroud, then I tried lowering them all the way but that seemed to just delay the problem. I know it sounds weird and totally backwards, but if I set my graphics to maximum and don't adjust anything (leaving shadows maxed, as well) I don't reset outside of dungeons. Inside of dungeons on max, however, I still reset but if I turn everything down all the way I don't have a problem. I tried literally everything I could think of short of buying new hardware and this is the only thing that worked, as little sense as that makes.

Forgot to add that before I maxed my settings I would restart anywhere from as soon as I logged in to every 20 minutes or so. Since I maxed my settings I've gone a couple of days without an incident.

mmc.exe is the Microsoft Management Console, and it is rather important. It was causing snap-in crashes on Windows 8 prior to Windows 8 and Server 2012 cumulative update 2795944. Make sure that your system is entirely up-to-date through the windows update utility (just search for it in the swipe bar).

You can open services.msc (just type it into search) and scroll through until you get to Windows Driver Foundation. Make sure that this is set to automatic. If it is, proceed, if it isn't switch it to automatic, and reboot.

    If that doesn't work:
    a. Open Control panel.

    b. Click on Troubleshooting.

    c. Click View all on the left pane of the screen.

    d. In the list of options, click on System Maintenance.

    e. Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions.

That driver that is failing to load (WudfRd) is usually related to an error produced by USB devices so make sure that any of them have the latest non-beta drivers as well. More often than not, that one can just be ignored. I suspect that the mmc.exe error is your problem.

Ok i have done all the updates that have been found over the windows-updater. The thing with the System Maintenance I have done too and it tells me that all is well and that changes or updating is not necessary.
Then I tried again to start final fantasy but its the same as before. Restart after a few minutes.

And the crashlog only say that the system has rebooted without cleanly shutting it down properly and the system has been shut down unexpectedly.
