The Sleep spell seems to be working as intended... Move along.
Some people see exploits everywhere, it seems that everything that didnt occur to them is an exploit.
This is NOT an exploit, said so by a CM.
Hmm see this is the problem not sure if it is or not....
This would fall under a speed run tactic and not a bannable offense. They could technically still ban you, but how is this any different from AK speed run? Instead of Raise, you are using sleep. They will most likely lockdown CM like they did AK.
Would you by any chance have a link regarding this?Anything else mentioned?
EDIT: NVM founded it. I am not 100% convinced they will be shutting down speed runs. And I have noticed that it is still some what possible to speed run AK.

still no update from a gm?
No, it's not bannable, it's an intended game mechanic otherwise the mobs wouldn't be able to be slept to begin with.
People really need to learn what the hell an exploit is.
I'm not sure how in the world this would give a person a ban. Prae speed run is skipping a bunch of mobs too, done every speed run. Sleeping mobs and running across them is part of the game.. surely you'd think if it "wasn't intent" something as simple as this wouldn't be over looked by the dev team (i.e. immunity to sleep).
I thought the mobs just followed you into the boss area? This isn't the case?
Sleep has one and only one function, making enemys unable to move. Why the hell would it be an exploit to use the spell for the very function it was designed?
Following that train of thought pulling enemys away from mobs to kill them one by one is also an exploit, the skill you use to attract them are designed to deal dmg or tank them so... EXPLOIT!
One of the first Black Mage job quests has you sleep mobs to run past them and achieve an objective.
