It wasn't just this forum for one, and every person that got their account back reported having their Gil divided by 100. That's pretty consistent. Also, heaven forbid SE actually put some effort into a real investigation when it's so much easier to just push a button and let some program do it, even though that would screw some players over. Who cares about them, though, right? I mean, they're just a minority, it's not like it will ever happen to you, right?

-SE is also a company that appears to not care how long it takes to do anything about something because bots reported teleport hacking 2 weeks to a month ago are still at it.

take 99% of every investigated accounts gil? or thoroughly investigate leaving said accounts under investigation for weeks, a month, more?
either way SE would be taking crap from people.

yes i have played The Last of Us. i agree about Joel being selfish, and like him, so were many of the people whose accounts were affected in this purge.
i was making a statement on the community and how no matter which direction SE chose to take to deal with the situation, people would come hear ranting about how injustice has been done.
in my selfishness, it didn't have an impact on me at all so i have no empathy towards these players. to further my selfishness, i'm over joyed to see the deflation the market boards. this deflation has little impact on me as well as i farm my own materials, make what i need, and that's that. i'm sitting on 526k, more than enough to get me through repair bills etc.
people need to just let this go as i believe thanks to the purge the economy has a chance to stabilize. only thing left to do is get rid of the botters, and have an active GM suspending RMT ads on the spot
