    "Regarding date of World Transfers
    Hello.
    I apologise for the long wait, I have some news to inform you of. The World Transfer service will begin as of 15th October (Tuesday).
    As for the situation now, we are doing the final tests towards launching the official service. Unless we find some seriously crazy, game smashing bug tomorrow night, the service will go live on the 15th as planned.
    Something still may happen though so please understand.
    We will notify you via the topics again once everything is finalised."

    I've read that Legacy characters cannot be transferred from legacy servers. How bout a Non-Legacy account/character that is currently on a legacy server? Any indication this will be allowed?

    The same ways as if with a legacy character.
    It is not about the characters itself, but the economy where they have their stuff.

    Yes it wouldn't be fair to start on a Legacy server and sell items at 10 times the profit then to take that gil and go off to a non-Legacy server. I'm not sure if they're allowing Legacy->Legacy transfers however... that might be a possibility.

    That would be lovely wouldn't it, but if gil displays on my profile you'll see that i'm scraping by with a continuously depleting 20-30K lol. But i figured as much, just thought I'd check :-\
