Hey!
I'm trying to build a gaming PC and I would like to see your suggestions on the hardware. I'm aiming for around 800-1000€ (1000-1300 USD). I'm not up do date at the moment and that's why I'd like your opinions![]()

Well if you have 1300 USD to spend then by all means get the best
EVGA GTX 780 Classified, video card is a beast runs FFXIV like a beast. If you have 0 intention of overclocking then just get the standard EVGA GTX 780 with ACX cooler its about 60 dollars cheaper.
If you have a microcenter by you then you can save some coin by getting a haswell processor and board in a combo they take like 50 dollars off the motherboard when you buy the processor with it. 189.99 for a 4670K. You want the K version as its unlocked so you can overclock the chip a bit at least to 4Ghz, to remove the bottleneck for the GPU. Asus Z87 motherboard 169.99 -20 Dollar Mail In Rebate - 50 Dollars from Motherboard/CPU deal comes to 100.00 for a motherboard
Get a Samsung 840 Pro SSD 256GB thats another 200 USD
Get a Seagate 2TB HDD (Not Green) thats another 119.99
PSU Gold Rated 750w thats another 100 USD
16GB DDR3 119.99
Video Card $699.99
CPU 199.99
Motherboard if you get combo $100.00
There you go
Do you have monitors already too then I assume? Want it to look pretty![]()
Don't buy AMD.
This is only true if you're buying CPUs.
OP, I would wait a bit longer to see how AMD's new generation video cards stack up to Nvidia's 700 series. Nvidia is only in a slight advantage because they released the 700s earlier (AMD'ing AMD l0l). You'll have more choices and would save more money from price adjustments. Oh and get dual/multi monitors. It's amazing.
If you can wait a bit more than wait. AMD just released new GPU's and you can be sure that NVidia will drop some of their prices. Also wait for benchmarks of the new GPU's they are already better and cheaper than what you get from NVidia. And in the end it only comes down to one thing. Do you want Physx or not.
