funny how, as a lvl 50 conjurer for quite some time I've never had the problem ^^
but I guess it's totally not the players fault for not being in the right position
I'm not denying a well positioned raise or accepting at the right time is okay, but there are generally encounters where it won't matter where you raise them and not being able to heal them for that 1-2 seconds can result in that person dying. It's not ground breaking but it can be at times annoying.
That's down to the content you haven't seen yet.
In some respects I agree with you, the animation lock on raise is well deserved punishment, it shouldn't be easy to get people standing and the current need to be careful when you click accept is spot on. Raising into plumes, landslide or incinerate is just a waste of everyones time and mp.
On the flipside, I also disagree with you in some regards, I should be able to heal someone who is mid raise as on some encounters they are likely just going to die to silly chip damage spam such as ADS' vacuum wave and short of some lucky fairy heals theres not an awful lot I can do about it.
This all the way. I can't tell you how annoying it is to have my MP completely wasted due to timing.
There is ZERO issues with Raise animation...
It's called learning how to raise properly, and when to accept a raise...
As soon as I see that they are walking I should be able to heal them. All to often I see them fully raised, but I cant heal them.
