A few questions since hitting 50

Hello fellow healers! I have a few questions I'd like to ask about the game and more specifically the white mage class.

    1) I need 900 tomes to complete my relic weapon (yay last part, wasnt smart enough to save ahead!) And my question is about whats next. Is it better to spend my first 900 mythology on relic+1, or Af2 robe and the ability to equip a head piece again. I feel like robe+hat is obviously the greater choice...but something about relic+1 magically makes you more wanted by speed run groups.

    2) Is some degree of DPS expected of me in end game dungeons? Before 50 I always dps'ed (not in cleric stance) since the healing was a joke anyways. Now that im somewhat geard and cure 1 is hitting for about 850 I find myself having "spare time" between heals on some runs. I kinda just stand around cause im already bored of running these same places. Since I dont run dungeons with other healers...this is more of an etiquette amd playstyle question to others. How much do you bother dpsing in dungeons? Do you religiously cleric stance between pulls to get in a quick 3 stone IIs or do you just casually dps here and there, or do you not care at all?

    3) pressence of mind - Ive found staple uses for all my spells but not this one. This is the last button I ever think to press, most of the time I forget I have it. I found myself using in titan because every.little.bit helped on that fight but on everything else I never even use it. What are some times people find use for this spell? What are peoples opinions of it?

    4) in my many titan runs...someone gave a tip to change camera settings to "legacy" mode or something. I did and didnt notice a change in anything, what does this do?

    5) when I was leveling I remember reading lots of negative comments about cure III. But now that ive hit 50 amd gotten a better understanding of end game,* I find myself using this ALL the time. I just run INTO the people im trying to heal and use myself as the target of the spell. I couldn't of imagined myself getting through titan without making use of this tatic. Yes its slightly more expensive than medica II, but I only used it on procs for the guaranteed crit and it had way less enmity than medica II. This was crazy throughput in my mind and now I find myself using this tactic in dungeons with 2 melee dps and the tank. Is this something that anyone else does with cure III and do you find success with it?

    1. Relic +1. Biggest increase to healing/dps.
    2. Yes, DPS whenever and wherever possible in Dungeons.

    4. "Legacy" control is simply movement based on camera direction rather than character direction. I personally prefer "Legacy", but it's up to you. My major issue with "Standard" is that if you use an ability whilst moving you'll start running towards the direction of your target due to the Auto-face-target feature.

2: Always DPS when you feel you have at least enough time for 2 casts (The time between when you put up Cleric's Stance and when you can pop it again to remove it). Always nuke with Cleric's Stance up. Aero + Aero II are your most effective spells for the amount of time invested in casting them, so make those a priority and only use Stone II if both are up. In large groups, use Holy, but rather than spam it, wait a second so your second holy hits when stun wears off. That way you both DPS and mitigate damage.

4: Another big reason to use legacy controls is that moving backwards will cause you to immediately turn around and start booking it. With standard controls, trying to go backwards forces you to do a SLOW backpedal.

I think I can help with some of these..

    1) The increase in healing you get from the +1 is greater than getting an af2 robe or any other myth piece due to the increase in weapon damage. So for that reason I would recommend upgrading your staff first.

    2) If your tank is decently geared and everybody knows the fights I don't see why you shouldn't do a bit of dps. In AK for example I like to use divine seal then regen the tank after he's established initial aggro. If he's got some gear this is enough to keep him alive and I can then just Cleric stance and dps. I'm constantly doing what I like to call the "Cleric Stance Dance" (lol..) in dungeons since it makes a big difference in your damage.

    3) I also kind of rarely use this, it's cooldown is just so long for such a short buff. I use it more as a dps boost than a healing tool now that I think about it. I like to pop it at some point during a dungeon boss fight when everyone is safe and I can spam some nukes for a few seconds. Or i'll pop it just for the heck of it on the last phase of Titan even I don't need it. There's never a moment where I'm like "Crap, if I had used PoM we would have been ok!" I haven't done BC yet so many some other healers have found use for it there.

    4) Not sure about this.

    5) I don't use Cure III a whole lot but it can be useful it situations like you said. If everyone is stacking for Titan stomps, or a melee heavy group. It would be nice if the spell's range were increased a little bit.

    4) I use legacy camera just so I don't have to stare at the ass of my character the entire time in the game and also the camera is more stationary to mitigate dizziness and keep the view of what's in front of me longer.
