Do buffs affect Limit Break damage?

buffs & gear or position dont effect LB whatsoever (not sure about weapon). pretty sure its based off ur characters base stats. could be wrong tho.

life surge definitely doesn't affect it.

I just checked over the statistics on that Reddit post and it seems that buffs do not have an effect on the damage at all, yet some people are still insisting that they do (see Life Surge above). Interesting. Well, from now on, I think I'll just hold off on executing buffs before using the LB since it just seems like a waste, honestly. By the time I finish the animation, my buff will have come close to wearing off, especially if it's Final Heaven, heh.
