    GP Regen should really be a stat over max GP

    Really +Max GP is really nice, but ultimately it feels kind of niche because there's not a lot of time you're going to spend at max GP...

    Instead offering the player the ability to gear for increased GP generation/regeneration I think would be a lot more enjoyable and help alleviate some of the stress of leveling mining/botany.

    +GP is meant for gathering from unspoiled nodes at 50, and endgame you will be focusing your efforts on getting your GP to 600.

    However... to solve both problems... they should have made GP regen like HP and MP do... as a % of max GP. This would make +GP desireable and it would automatically increase GP regen without having to do any reitemization.

    Currently its 5/400 per x seconds (2-3 seconds i think? i've never measured). So you should regen 1.25% GP per tick/swing instead of 5 static imo. At 600 GP you would then regen at 7.5 GP per tick. That sounds like the perfect solution to me!

    I agree with zdub its just silly that no matter how high your max gp is your regen is 5. Also I'd like to add that when gathering an NQ hit will net you 5gp back, miss 0 and HQ 5gp too. Shouldn't HQ hits give you more gp back? It only sounds fair maybe x3 or x4 the normal rate its not like you can get HQ hits all the time

    Not a bad idea... you get a 200% bonus in exp for HQ iirc, so maybe a 200% bonus in GP as well? 5 for NQ and 15 for HQ? That sounds pretty fair/balanced to me.

    I totally agree with that. For a long while I couldn't figure why my HQ GP return rate wasn't higher than the NQ one. But I gave up and just let it go. ^.^;

    What really needs to happen is give you full GP when you switch to a gathering class while in a main city. It's horrible to be doing something, the time for Darksteel ore comes along and you switch, only to be stuck waiting until three minutes before it goes away to have anywhere close to full GP.

    600 is the target for max GP?

    Ah so you can pop lv 2 HQ ability I see... there's no way to use a Truth Skill + Ward though, is there? So what's the most practical way of using a Ward to get multiple clusters? lv 3 accuracy + ward ?

    For clusters I would swing the slot you want instead of use truth and then pop a +gather II or III and your Ward of Choice.

    Gather III + Ward is 650 GP though, keep that in mind. You might want to try and up your gathering to 85% on cluster nodes so that gather II gives you 100%

    It takes so long to get max GP. I come out of DF and switch to miner....stand there and wait. Even a GP regen on a long cooldown would be something.
