Xp for fates not being given in certain circumstances

I've been in a few fates (doesn't seem tied to location) where accidentally walking out of the fate "circle" as it ended meant i didn't receive any xp.

Moreover, accepting an invite to a duty (dungeon) while participating in a fate means you don't receive any xp either.

Some fates are quite long, and if you're near the end of taking down a boss and have a high contribution to the whole fate, you should be rewarded when the fate ends, based on aforementioned contribution, despite accepting a duty invite or leaving the circle.


I can't honestly tell if this is a bug or if it's coded that way, but as far as i'm concerned it's not working correctly.

Walking out of the circle doesn't affect whether or not you receive XP from the FATE. It's actually a pretty common tactic in higher-density FATE zones to leave a FATE around halfway to go on and move to the next.

Not receiving XP when you enter a duty is almost certainly not a bug; since the duty is on a different server altogether, it's not exactly practical to award you FATE XP when the FATE ends and you're in a duty.
