ワールド移転サービスは、2013年10月15日(火)の開始を予定しています。

現在の準備状況ですが、サービス開始に向けて最終の検証作業を
行っているところです。明日の夜までに重大な不具合が確認されない場合には
このまま15日で確定できる見込みです。

Basically, they are testing the final bugs and if nothing found by tomorrow evening, the transfer service will be available on the 15th of October (Tuesday)

EDIT: this was post by Foxclon 2 hours ago on the Japanese board (from when I write this message) so I am sure the official translation should come later today.
Also, they will probably do the official announcement once their critical test is finish (tomorrow evening) so we can expect a message from Friday

When we talk about release date,
Early October means 10 Oct.
First half of October means 15 Oct.
In October means 31 Oct.

Can SE not afford to hire someone to write their info in English?

Not hating on you, OP, but I find it odd that the majority buyers of this game is English-speaking but the community relies on fan-translators for their up-to-date information.

Yeah, being on the other side of the world being the major thing. Just because Square-Enix is open in Japan doesn't mean they're open in other countries. When the North American/European offices open, we'll get an official update.

I do feel they need to have more NA/EU communication though. 90% of the Reinhart translations we get never get official posts for us.

I guess they're just sleeping. SE needs an english speaking community rep in Tokyo to post feedback the same time as Foxclon and Co
