Bio 2, miasma, bio, fester, thunder, miasma 2 if I can get close and ruin 1 or 2 depending on if I am moving or not. I only use ED if it's a long fight and my mp gets low, the dmg it does is not worth the aetherflow charges.

Miasma II isn't worth using on a single target if you don't hit it with contagion. Ruin puts out more potency for that GCD.

OP you dont know how to play summoner.

1. Apply DOT's + Fester.
2. Shadow Flare
3. Use Miasma 2 when needed
4. Energy Drain only to regain mana
5. During GCD you should be using ruin and rouse on your pet. The GCD allows you to tend to your pet while you cast ruin... I like to cast ruin and ruin2 together.

Me as a war tank was being told by the whm and Blm last night to use shield stance on war...um yea I was spamming flash overpower my maim buffed butchers block combo ect but since whm was curaga bombing the party and the Blm nuking everything I wasn't marking I was losing enmity to high jolts of volatile enmity spikes and cumulative enmity builds from whm cure bombing the Blm after he was trying to tank I was being called a f'ing noob, like really?

I find that most of these duty finder trolls have no idea what they are doing when it comes to standard party mechanics. If there were slept mobs in my conal range I'd use flash to flash slept mobs plus the mob I was currently tanking that way when they woke they wouldn't assault caster, but more importantly so overpower wouldn't wake slept mobs, but of course I'm the noob. I left and duty finder gave me a normal group, with fellow FFXI vets and we cleared the run in record speeds with 1 k.o, (I was warding off the fiancée) my own.

Edit: I'm open to any constructive critizing, I'm like a spounge when it comes to learning more about jobs, or anything I'm willing to learn more about.

I've seen tanks never use Flash or Overpower for multiple mobs.

This threw me for a very big loop as I was leveling a healer.
