Where in this labyrinth of Sign Up Process can we pick which subscription level?

I am playing from the US and need to know where in the sam hill we can choose which level of subscription to use? there are so many steps to this esp if you are using Crysta and not a credit card..it is amazing. I chose automatic renewal but there was no place to choose the level of sub?/????? any ideas anyone?

they desperately need a clear step by step READ ME on this. I waited in line for 3 hours for chat support then they slammed it closed when i got to 1 after booting me back up t 2 several times sigh. will try again tomorrow but thought to ask here too. thanks for any help.

OK E thanks again for your help...you are very nice i will try there again. Just didnt want to mess it up.

Nope nadda. I tried to check it again, it llists my subscritption for the game but did not give me a chance to choose what level of sub to choose...and it says to add characters choose Options but the only Optional Services button has no mention at all of characters and onlyl says World Transfers will be available mid September but no place to check any thing about adding characters.

any clues anyone?

Are we looking the same place?
When I go to the Mog Station, I get a first row of buttons saying:

Account Services | Optional Services | Service History | SE Account Settings | Support Center

(Then below it it shows my service account. Text indicating to select the account suggests this could be a list of service accounts for people with more than one.)

If I click on the first "Account Services" button, it brings up another row of buttons below it, within the listing of my service account. That row has:

Subscription Services | Enter Bonus Code | Upgrade to Digital Collectors Edition | Add Windows Service | Update Payment Method | Enter Pre-Order Bonus Code

Clicking the first "Subscription Services" button from that list brings up the "Select Subscription Type and Period" page.

How much of that are you seeing before it diverges from what I had?

ah ha, i did indeed check that Standard Level button whew. I got so tired of the many levels that I guess i did actually see this and checked the right buttons. I will confirm with Support tomorrow just to be sure. thanks for the reply and i enjoyed the cross word world puzzle that looks like a pretty easy dungeon to run

Square Enix can make some really great games, but it's increasingly obvious that they're lousy at customer service, so it's important for players to help each other out when possible (just like several other players helped me out a month ago when I couldn't figure out how or where to register the game). When there's something wrong with somebody's account and they need it fixed, that has to go through customer service, but when you need info on how or where to do something, the community site if often the better bet.
