This is the first time since launch that I have found myself with literally no alternative but to FATE grind. Hunting log only has one entry left, current on class/job quests, no dungeon at 46, no storyline quest, no side quests - zero.

It seems like very bad design.

(Incidentally, why is the lead-in quest for Aurum Vale given at 44? Why make the level requirement 47 when you know there is no content available at 46?)
