    i don't think you can do rested exp for crafting only DoW and DoM

    Well that isn't true.. You earn rested EXP on a 50 capped job. Why it didn't move at all.. Not sure, maybe you weren't logged out long enough to show a noticeable difference? You're positive you logged out in an inn/sanctuary?
