Anyways. I don't find the current system too bad. It's unresponsive and the animations are boring, and nothing ever does what it is supposed to, but it could be worse.
I've never had any problems with button response, and i've never done anything I didnt want to do with my current skills set, but I will say the weapon skills need diverse animations. Besides as far as alpha goes, the current system works better than the alpha system...and THIS time they've got the FFXI lead battle designer on board as the XIV lead battle designer.

Anyone know who the lead battle designer was prior to the development team switch up?
