No action taken yet on reported cheating

This morning I was going out to harvest some level 5 mining spots for wind shards. Very close to Ul'Dah in the Spineless Basin. I saw two miners who were cheating. Classic mining from underground, invisible, teleporting between mining points, and not responding to my interactions with them. I reported each one in an individual support ticket. Now here it is over six hours later and they're still there

Do you know how frustrating this is? Not only to have known cheating going on, but to see it still happening when I come back at the end of the day without anything having been done? Especially in such a highly populated area where i'm sure others have noticed and been filing reports throughout the day.

Is it because it is Sunday and the admin are off work? That should not be an excuse for cheaters to take advantage of the system. Something like this should be taken care of within an hour of reporting, not left to go on all day without resolution.

SE need a little thing called "proof" and to investigate takes time. I know its frustrating too and I sympathize with you but like all things it takes time to catch these people. Nothing we do will make SE act on it faster

Square Enix doesn't have an unlimited number of employees. It takes time to determine if someone is actually a bot, figure out if this is actually a compromised account or just someone botting, and then deciding what to do with it. It doesn't mean your report goes unnoticed, however, everything gets looked at eventually. They probably ban bots in waves as well.

They have changed since FFXI then. On FFXI I was reported once cause someone thought I was botting. I was put in GM jail while they investigated to find out that I wasn't actually botting. The whole thing took about 20 minutes. I had a nice chat with the GM though.

Lol now a days on FFXI people use clipper/cupper (speed hacks) and bots and never get touched. FFXI is a bad example (and a bad sign) for the type of "anti-cheats" FFXIV will be doing.

Proof? They sent out a blanket ban to anyone with over 8 million gil and then took away 99% of their gil because it was "dirty" (RMT) money they received through the market/economy.

If they need proof I have pics and videos. Problem is I can't attach those to the help ticket. It only takes a minute to log into Balmung, go 10 feet outside Ul'Dah and confirm the activity by just looking.

EDIT: I mean, even if they had to gather evidence and whatnot, that gives the bot/RMT hours of free play time to just hack the system and gain thousands of shards before anything stops them. Then they can just put on another random name to another random character and get another day of botting with that new temp character.

Massbanning bot in waves, mass banning <insert name here> in waves are nothing but lazyness IMO. It should be handled case by case

Dont expect anything done, I was running fates in dragonshead and saw a cheater, telehacking to mobs. So naturally I reported him (along with a discussion with the other fate parties) and surprise surprise about 3 days later, still there farming

Made a huuge rant about SE and their terrible customer service and thought it isn't worth it, they wont read it lol, they dont care xD
