    You're making a baseless assumption on that age. I haven't met anyone not in their mid 20s or older. Would still be a baseless assumption on my part but fact is most likely that we have a very wide demographic and that this still applies. The article talks about the workplace but I guarantee that this could be extended much much further. Even you under 18 video gamers. As a society we are raised to all think we are special snowflakes . That's why the author makes that distinction of American phenomenon. That is where this really all stems from.

    The article is about the America workplace, not gaming in an international community.
