That's like refusing to teach your child how to drive because you're afraid they might someday have an accident. They're going to have an accident regardless, but giving them the tools to be successful drivers will give them the ability to handle the accident better than not knowing anything at all. Right now you're saying that combating RMT takes priority over everything (ironic, given how much spam there still is, how many mining bots I still see, and how many RMTs I report every day that seem to go ignored). RMT will always try to take advantage of the game in any way they can. But by creating an environment where combating them takes priority over game play, you're depriving a large part of your player base of a huge part of what is for them the most enjoyable aspect of the game.

    I agree 100%!

This game would be much more fun if they actually investigated and banned Gil-Buyers, rather than fun-killing "counter measures".

I can't even mail items to my alt, due to these silly RMT counter measures.

Nor can I buy anything useful, as a crafter who has made a lot of gil from crafting, totally senseless in my opinion.

It would be great if they added a "request craft" feature, where you could supply the mats in the same way that "request meld" works. Then they could add recipes that bind to the player immediately, and requires ingredients that also bind immediately. Allows crafting to create the highest end gear without having to make it available for purchase.

This. And a reasonable HQ Rate! I can't stand the point to always be able to HQ craft. Sh*t happens. Because of the complexity of crafting in FFXIV I could stand with a HQ chance of 60-90% for a craft like this.
We even will get a replayability for the content.

A bit more Hardcore can't be bad, the raiders are for sure even to us. We HC craft they HC raid and therefor we all grind.
I happily would wear tools especially for those crafts or something other.

    I like Random-Number-Generator
'cause I'm able to accept that
a dice normally has six sides
    a pyramid has 5 sides
    a toast has 2 sides
AND I CAN'T PREDICT WHICH SIDES IT FALLS TO.

I was thinking of this exact feature. Another idea could be to just have drops that +1 the current highest level crafted gear (i know there could be some issues with melds already on the item). My last suggestion would only benefit people that craft and raid, where they could just drop binding materials that crafters could then use.

A pitty. No at least a tiny bit of information what 2.1 will bring for us crafters. No word on PVP-, Treasure-, Beastmen-, CT- crafting possibilities.

So let's hopr that the patch notes will shed some light...
