Here are some ideas to make Crafting more exciting.
1. Have some hidden recipes where Crafter experiment with combination of materials to make item.
2. Bound materials which can be use to Craft higher tier item or can use it to request Craft similar to Melding Request system.(This idea is already spoken in multiple posts by players).
3. Have recipes that require multiple classes to craft.
4. Allow player to open up shop for accepting meld and/or craft request. Instead of player has to shout to look for someone whom can meld or craft an item, player can go to a shop board or designated object to request melding and/or craft.
5. Have dungeon or leves where players have to protect Crafter through a place to loot item dropped by last boss for crafting. Make the item can only loot-able by specified DoH class. We're playing RPG, why not have some role playing? I think something like this will increase interaction between DoM/DoW with DoH.
