We made this with pld and war (yes 2 tanks) and the final boss was a really piece of cake (we didn't kill any spawning tonberries lol).
Very nice dungeon though.

I had no real issues with wandering palace. None of my group had Ifrit weapons. We mostly were wearing Aurum Vale gear.
We did wipe twice on last boss, then won once we split the dds so that one focused on adds other focused on boss.

Just did this one a couple times tonight. It is a pretty straight forward place.
The three bosses just have some basic competency checks in them.
First one is if healer knows how to status remove, 2nd one is able to do a kill order on the fly and if people know how to kite, last one is just add/mechanic management.
Actually I dont think final boss is a dps race. The tonberries seem to spawn at intervals of the boss' health, so heavy dps can make the fight more chaotic. I did the fight with 3 players once, I was the only dps, and it was super easy because the tonberries weren't spawning back to back.
All this "DPS check" and "Ifrit Required" talk is truly nonsense. "Have fun" and "Pay attention" are the only requirements for this one. I say we enjoy this dungeon while we can.
Actually, once the big ones spawn around the edges...it is a DPS race. They start moving in on a timer and you die when they reach the center(like how they work in other FF games).Actually I dont think final boss is a dps race. For all the future people doing this instance. Don't listen to these two. You DON'T need ifrit weapons for this at all. You can beat this instance with the use of NQ 48-50 weapons.(I forgot what the level on the final weapons are, that can be bought for cheap on the market)
But don't go in there wearing anything below lvl 48... Unless you're lucky that others are overgeared.

THIS is the far superior strat. Tank kites the King and all mini tonberries in a small circle. Everyone else just single targets the boss. No Rancor. No Everyone's Grudge. No Problem.
The Dungeon drops DL weapons which are LESS powerful than the Ifrit weapons. Saying someone needs a more powerful item than what drops in the dungeon is asinine.
