All this "DPS check" and "Ifrit Required" talk is truly nonsense. "Have fun" and "Pay attention" are the only requirements for this one. I say we enjoy this dungeon while we can.
The Dungeon drops DL weapons which are LESS powerful than the Ifrit weapons. Saying someone needs a more powerful item than what drops in the dungeon is asinine.

Great answer. WP gives you ilvl 55 equipment, you can totally do it with AF and lesser equipment. The same logic applies for AK. Why would I need ilvl 70 equipment of the dungeon gives me ilvl 60 items?!
WP is easy when you know the tactics. No equipment check in there.

I adore this dungeon so much, because tonberries
The bosses when you go in for the first time will catch you out, because it's so easy to go wrong with them. Once you've learnt them, it's quite easy, but still a lot of fun.
I also want to start a petition to change the name of the dungeon to Tonberry Island ^_^ it's what I always call it
I love Wanderer's Palace.
The first time I went in and saw the Tonberry Stalker chasing us I was all "Oh no, it's Temple of Uggalepih all over again!!!!". Obviously, being mostly fresh 50s he got us and killed us without mercy. Had a blast xD
Now to the point of boss difficulty:
- First one is easy. Really really easy. Like OP said, get out of reds, don't stay close during cones.
- The second one is the hardest in my opinion. It's true that the killing order is easy enough to remember but I've seen that stupid flan two-shot healers quite a few times when not careful enough. A first timer group will have some trouble with this one
- The tonberry king.. I have a question regarding this one. During one run we had lots of adds pile up (one of our DPS was a bit undergeared) so, since we were about to wipe we said "fuck it" and BLM used AoE Limit Break, knowing that the next Everyone's Grudge would oneshot me. Killed 5 adds with it but Rancor didn't go up. Has anyone else run into this? Thought it was really odd..

I love Wanderers Palace, after rushing through AK for a week, WP is a great change... Well, I rather do WP than AK to be honest...
I've seen someone complaining about 2nd boss Fires - one simple trick, it has a range and if it happens that you're the tank just move on his back (works the same as with AKs 1st boss and cancelling his Voidal Thunder III).
If you're sure that Tonberrys King next Grudge will kill you, pop Hallowed Grounds, and no, it isnt a gear check.
I've only done it once, and failed at the second boss until time out.
Being SMN didn't help in killing the adds fast (even if the order was easy), and the server liking to lagg you out didn't help. Usual cause of death was almost always the boss catching up and one-shotting you though.
One of those days I'll go visit it again. But the second boss was not really fun at all.
I Fuggin LOVE people like this... "oh if you are going to do this dungeon you should have Ifrit HM weapon to DPS...
REALLY? I mean.. REALLY? If you have Ifrit's HM weapon.. WHY would you even BE in WP in the first place? It sucks for tomes, it sucks for gear if you have Ifrit HM gear.
Idiot.
The stupidity is already starting "LFG to run level 20 content.. please be level 50 geared and able to faceroll the keyboard at all times!"
Pay attention and you'll be fine. Most people complaining about gear are those who want speed runs and want it to be easy. People didn't think my first time we had enough dps for the wall. We got it the second time. I think the healer died or something the first time. Someone explained it and I picked it up quick. Geez I think I had lvl 19 ring and 29 neck. A few points won't matter nearly as much as someone who is aware of what's happening.
Be nice to people it's up to us to make a community.
