    Wanderer's Palace and YOU!

For some reason the people in this game seem to have trouble with what is the easiest of the level 50 dungeons and I don't know why. So here I will describe the strategy for all the bosses in hopes that the incompetence of this game's dps can be resolved.

First off, if you fate grind all the way to 50, and don't buy any 48/49 jewellery, DO NOT QUEUE. You will get trolled and you will fall
    the instance, guaranteed.

First boss: Tank and spank. Stay out of red ground, when he cones, don't even be near him, the cone sucks in and he follows with a radius of poison. Easy, right?

Second boss: Every dps playing this game fails here, and I don't know why. Dps boss, when he spawns adds kill them in priority of BLUE, PURPLE, WHITE, then the rest. Aoe them after blue drops.
Bards, save your tp for aoe spam.
AoE LB is really helpful here, first time you see a yellow flan spawn, hit them all with LB, don't miss. Fight over. Easy right?

Final boss: Focus boss. 1 dps on ads. Kill 3, wait for boss' rancor to fade, it's a giant emote on your screen, you can't miss it. Then kill 3, then wait, then 3, then wait, then 3, then wait, then 3, then wait, then 3, then LB boss. Then win. Easy right?

Again, if you have problems with this instance you are bad. It's a dps instance, of you can't dps, go be a healer.

Idk, but that seems like a massive waste of time to wait in culling adds. Maybe its necessary for plds to survive, but as a war I just tell dps to kill kill kill without hesitation and heal through the rancor crap with IB and a competent healer, otherwise its always* always a wipe because they let a couple little guys get on me :T

You really should have mentioned that the 3rd boss is a DPS race against the clock. If you don't have an ifrit weapon or your level 50 HQ crafted weapon it's going to be a rough encounter. Have a range deal with the adds makes the fight easier, but it's just a hard dps check.

The 2nd boss is by far the most difficult imo. The debuffs, the AOE, that stupid fire spell he does. All of it is basic on the mechanics side, but it's still rough for undergeared people. Get some basic level 48-49 gear and then run it. Makes the dungeon easier for everyone.

No not for first time people. Queued in duty and the tank wanted to do a speed run but didn't inform the other 3 new people. Didn't offer any advice except at the boss with words like this: just spank. So what may seem simple to some after 2-5 runs of dungeon, may not be simple to 1st time people who don't read up on every dungeon in a game but rather just experience it and learn from their mistakes.

You can just kite the 3rd boss and dps will never be an issue no matter how bad your gear is. He hits like a wet noodle, and by not killing adds his big move does 0 damage.

For some odd reason, Wanderer's Palace is one of the very few dungeons I haven't tried yet. Not sure why really.. The other one I haven't done is Cutter's Cry, mainly because I did that a billion times in 1.0 and had enough of ants for the coming years

THIS is the far superior strat. Tank kites the King and all mini tonberries in a small circle. Everyone else just single targets the boss. No Rancor. No Everyone's Grudge. No Problem.

For all the future people doing this instance. Don't listen to these two. You DON'T need ifrit weapons for this at all. You can beat this instance with the use of NQ 48-50 weapons.(I forgot what the level on the final weapons are, that can be bought for cheap on the market)

But don't go in there wearing anything below lvl 48... Unless you're lucky that others are overgeared.
