The board will be awesome, you'll see. It will be like party search in XI but better. People will be able to list that they are looking for this and that, and someone forming this or that will be able to find them. E.g. EXP Parties, Spirit Bind parties, Spirit Bind CM runs, CM runs in general, AK, WP, BCB, Titan Runs/Sells, etc etc etc.
People saying it's useless just want BCB on the DF and won't be satisfied until it is. IMO stay unhappy because putting BCB in the DF in it's current state is a really bad idea. Even with a Gear Check on it for Relic weapons and full IL70+.
Say theres 100 servers,
Now of those servers how many people geared with relic and IL 70+ are there? Ok, how many of those are not already in static BCB groups? Of All those not in a static group with that gear how many actually want to run coil? How many want to run coil when you want to run coil? How many of that remaining pool are tanks, healers, and dps. Of that remaining pool how many paladin/warrior pairs are there (because you don't want to end up with two warriors, you need that PLD silence) and you don't want to end up with 4 brds (you need that ST LB). And you don't want to end up with two whm's or two sch's, you need that diversity.
At the end of all those variables, you'll have tons of people in the DF with a group waiting on 1 sch, 1 pld etc with Horrendous Que times. You'll spend 90 minutes progressing on Snakes and not downing it, then get a totally different group and spend 90 minutes progressing on snakes again.
Sure, in that DF que will be people who know the fights and have been to turn 4, but your chance of getting qued with 7 more people who have been past turn 1 and are capable of one shotting it like yourself are close to nil. You'll spend all of that time learning it with a specific group and then get a whole new group next time.
If they were to add this dungeon to the QUE, imo, there should be an entirely new Duty Finder made just for raids. Call it Raid Finder or something. And with it, quers should be able to specific what item level gear average they want, how many tanks they want, what class those tanks should be, how many healers they want and what type of healers, and how many dps they want and what type of DPS they want. Secondly there should be an option on this Raid Finder where you select "Run with preferred players". Now at the end of the raid you should get a popup window where you can unprefer or prefer people you ran with. So if you liked your entire group and want to run with them again you Prefer all of them. Then the next time you que if any of them are online they get priority to join your que.
Better yet make it so you can friendlist people cross server and you can invite them to a dungeon que cross server.
Imo, we shouldn't need to form a group to que with people in the DF. Instead the Duty Finder should look more like the Custom Match Selector in League of legends with 4 to 8 player spots on it. You can select "Find Player" or "Invite Player" and then specify who you are inviting. Then once everyone is in the DF que Room, you click QUE and can continue running fates in a fate PT etc while you wait for it to pop.

That's a poor assumption. XI required a cooperative relationship 100% if you ever wanted to get anything done. XIV, cooperation exists well among those that succeed.
Don't segregate people simply because of the few bad apples that possibly need a psychiatric evaluation based on how angry they get at dying in a video game.
nice thread necro there
I love how just because people are using FC's for something other than what they were designed for, they expect SE to change mechanics for them.
So about that FC alliance...
Pushed back to 2.3
