6/10, game is still in its prime so i am no so immature to be so pessimistic or such..but game has a lot of serious flaws.I think crafting is one of the best i seen around, good graphic and cutscenes also music.I'd like to see more tank options, animation revamp. (try to hit and move and you will see your chara animation freeze and sliding..)Fates are not suited to this slow paced combat it feels horrible, after all this is not an action mmo. Mostly more viable option to customize you class with stats/att points, idk add some regen hp feature mp, reflect in to a specific stat. SE I will wait this game to improve

There's no variety on content, battles are boring, and there's no no customization (regarding class/jobs, gear and character progresion), also token system and lineal gear progression are the worst grind system ever designed.

Graphics, music, lore and story are awesome, and the gathering and crafting systems are the best i have seen.

This game can easily get a 8-9/10 reworking and improving some things.

To the people rating 10; I find it hard to believe you find no fault with this game whatsoever.

I give it a solid 6.

Leveling your first job and craft is exciting and seeing all the places is cool, however once you've hit 50 you'll come to the sad realisation that your gear sucks, you won't have any of the proper sub abilities and when you go back to level said job for abilities you find out quick there's no more quests to level. The progression system in this game is very 2 dimensional.

Relative to all MMOs: 4/10
Relative to modern MMOs: 8/10

I really just despise modern MMOs in about every way so this isn't really my cup of tea. I do love the crafting in this game though. But I can't really justify paying monthly just to craft things for really no reason at all. Especially when I can be having more fun playing other genres.

2/10 for SE dealing with bots and spammers and general customer service

5/10 community, because 5 in 10 people (statistics are 100% made up and only by my experience) are ridiculous elitists asking for relics for AK runs OR anti-social OR deliberate non-readers OR that-one-person-ruining-titan-run-every-single-time. Forum community gets no rating. 'Cause trolls.

Suroundings/Layout: FFXIV 1.0 + 1.23 -> 4/10 ARR -> 8/10

Exploration, sense of adventure: FFXIV 1.0 + 1.23 -> 9.5/10 ARR -> 4.5/10

Gameplay: FFXIV 1.23 -> 5/10 ARR 2.0 -> 7/10

Leveling System: FFXIV 1.0 -> 4/10 - FFXIV 1.23 -> 6/10 - ARR 2/10 -> Sorry but fates are too easy, mindless and basically destroy all other ways of exping coz everything else seems pointless. EXP gained from fates seriously needs to drop.

Story line: FFXIV 1.0 -> What story??? - FF14 1.23 -> Ohh that story 4/10 - ARR 8/10

End Game Content: FFXIV 1.23 -> 5/10 - ARR -> 6.5/10

End game enjoyment: FFXIV 1.23 -> 7/10 - ARR -> 4/10 - I still think ARR is way too easy. Also the majority of the content is so pointless now that you basically repeat the same two dungeons CM and AK and there is even a cap on how much you can earn...

Casual Friendly: FFXIV 1.0 -> 5/10 - FF14 1.23 -> 3/10 - ARR -> 9/10

Hardcore Player Worthy: FFXIV 1.0 -> 6/10 - FF14 1.23 -> 9/10 - ARR -> One fight Titan thats about all I can recall having any difficulty sorry to those who disagree ARR -> 3.5/10

Honestly given the huge pro and con differences between all three versions 1.0, 1.23 and 2.0 I have a real hard time deciding which I prefer, it's a shame ARR didn't retain all the good things from 1.0 + 1.23 and for that reason ARR only gets a 4.5/10 from me.

I couldn't take you seriously after this because, I assume, when you say graphics, what you really mean is Mi'qote body shape, as the game graphically looks quite a bit better than ver. 1.
