But when three people constantly undercut my 30k item by 5k every 20 minutes (being a total of like 5 items on the market), until the item is worth half the amount, I play dirty. I mine all my own Gold Ore, so I'll make a bunch (1-5) of what ever the item is, 1 star GSM items, and sell them all for 1g each.Honestly, screw you! If you're gonna make the item worthless I'm just going to start giving them away for free, because I'm not making any money anyways! And since I have 100s of gold ore extra it doesn't even affect me at all.
Thank you... I love impulsive players like you...that's how I get my full set of 1-star crafting gear cheap (though not 1g).

Look, I'll take a real example here. The lv49 (or somewhere there) HQ crafter's belt was selling for 10k in my server...not many clears a day. Then came this other crafter that started posting 5 pc of them everyday at 5k...then I started to see way more transaction than it was previously. By undercutting, you're making the item accesible to a wider audiance at a more afforable price. As long as you are making profits from it, that's not really a problem for the seller. You may be selling something at the rate of 1pc a day for 8k profit, but I could sell 5 pc for 3k profit each.

If I meet players like you, I would probably buy up everything that you have for offer at 1gil, stash it for resale later. At worst I'll be losing 1gil per item. Or...you could had just exited that market for a while, and sell your gold ore at 500 per piece (the price in my server) and still make some money...your choice.

I don't mind you gear up off me. In fact I usually craft things for free for people anyways. Like I said I have a stockpile of 100s of gold ore, which I can HQ 1 star items with easily. I don't need more than the 500k I have now, and after playing the undercutting game for 5 days straight I get sick of not selling anything. Yea I get it, if its not selling at its set price, it probably needs to be lowered. But what other people need to understand, is that an item should never be sold for cheaper than what the materials cost.

Most people sell an item for the value of the materials added together, NOT INCLUDING the cost of the shards, so they're losing money, and so is anyone else trying to sell that item. And that's what ends up happening. Yea, 25k may be a little much for a HQ 1 star piece of jewelry. 15k? Probably a better price. 5-10k? You're not even covering the cost of the ore now, let alone the crystals. If I'm going to be losing money, I may as well make other people happy by giving my items away to them for free.
