Healing with Controller Vs. Mouse/Keyboard

I'm about to ask a potentially dumb question, so forgive me.
For those of you finding it harder to target with M+KB, do you know that you can just select people from the party list with your mouse?

This is how I healed now after adapting the style from SWTOR. This is great because you can keep your eyes on the party bar and only check on the battle whenever you know an mechanic is being triggered. Minimal eye movement and limited mouse control is required and it's pretty safe. I don't even use heal macros anymore. I just click party list and enmity list.

I do miss the FFXI days when I didn't use the mouse at all (compact keyboard style) to heal. Having a mouse with a couple of more buttons definitely help now.
