    This... I'm all for this. Hell I'd go for more potency and the SAME cooldown. I think I hit for 600-700ish with Ifrit....to have to wait 300s for that seems silly. Then again, considering that we have 55-65 DPS going on, plus the only class that is capable of attacking 24/7 if played right...yeah we don't have much to complain about

    Summoner doesn't need a rework, FFXIV Summoner ≠ FFT Summoner or any other summoner they chose a different design for the class people just need to get over it.

    That having been said:
    Pet controls, AI and responsiveness needs a lot of work. All abilities should have an auto cast on/off toggle so we can pick what skills they use automatically. Stances should not be wiped the moment we tell our pets do do something, if I put my pet in stand and order it to attack a mob it should attack that mob then come back to me in stand stance once the mob is dead. When I hit a pet ability it should fire off immediatly e.g. with Ifrit his stun is near useless as it goes off after 3+ seconds making it pointless as an on demand stun.

    Tri-Disaster is for the most part unused due to its high cast time, low dmg and a bind that breaks on dmg. Apart from some intensly niche uses (Garuda feathers) this ability has practically no use 99% of the time.

    Spur should be merged with Rouse at a 60 sec cd.

    Enkindle could be a 15 sec cd for the damage it does.

    Probably not entirely. There will be pvp specific abilities that you gain. And I think I remember them saying part of pvp progression is the abilities.

    But we have no idea if it will just be a few abilities that can really alter our playstyles or if we get all new stuff.
