Hello all!

With the announcement that server transfers are upcoming, my friends and I are trying to decide on which server to meet up on. I am curious to hear all about the other servers.

How is the economy? The community? I would love any and all information.

I'm from Adamantotise however you spell it
It's pretty friendly through. Just those hardcore endgamers always arguing with everyone.
Other then that maybe some Titan sells here and there but good server to be on.

That sounds like every server.

There are basically 3 groups of servers:
The legacy servers, with lots more lv50s than the others, and a more established economy
the original nonlegacy servers in between the above and below
and the servers added after the big mainteannces, which have a lower population and earlier economy.

There, covered all servers. Within each category, you're not going to see a lot of variance.

Excalibur (Legacy).

Community is part laid back, part rushing to coil asap you better bring a relic to the PR speed run. Stay out of Mor Dhona / limit your time around Dragonhead and you'll likely be fine with the community.

There is a lot of money to go around if you craft and pay attention to the market. Don't try farming if you value your sanity though. Every mob that drops a craftable item dies the second it pops. All but the very top tier of HQ synths are well over supplied. There is some money in crafting gathered items in to the 1st step mat, but raw materials are also well over supplied. You should supply your own crystals if you want to make decent money crafting.

There is always a queue during NA prime, but it doesn't last for more than a minute even when it is in the 100s.


I assume this is the average experience on a packed Legacy server.

I'm on Adamantois right now. The economy is pretty stable other than minor variations, with the exception of a drastic fall in Mugwort prices last week that really helped ramp up my Mega-potion crafting and selling. But then if we're going to go item by item i'd be here for hours listing the flow of the economy.

I'm probably going to swap to Balmung where the RP community is. Roleplay is non existent on Adamantois. We have a linkshell, but even it's not very active.

I'm currently on Chocobo and want to transfer to a NA/EU server. Can anyone please tell me, is there many (if any) JP players in Duty Finder on a NA/EU server? Sometime I like to select JP only in DF for say HM fights as they usually have good skills / less latency. Thanks
